Fashion – New York - NYC
I grew up in the serene countryside of the Midwest. Exploring nature and the wonder of endless colors, always intrigued me. From a very early age I started painting on clothing and it was then decided that my career would be in fashion. The day after receiving my BA in Fashion design, I moved to NYC. Wide eyed and ready to tackle the industry, I paid my dues and learned areas from design, production, technical and sales. Over the last 12 years, I\'ve had the privilege to work in some of the largest Fashion corporations in NYC. However, fulfilling my dreams and stepping out in faith to launch Alyson Renée has been the most rewarding experience. Alyson means of a noble kind; one who is distinguished and set apart. Renee means reborn. The contemporary clothing brand aims to set apart a woman by wrapping her in beautiful designs inspired by the history of fashion and elevated style. I now have the opportunity to design, sew, dye and sell designs that I love. I especially enjoy making custom orders and working with clients to create a piece that they love to wear or give to a loved one. It makes each piece unique, with it\'s own story. Made in NYC with Love:) I\'ve had the honor to have my line showcased in Fashion Magazines and on the Red carpet, by Broadway actress Laura Osnes, twice nominated for a Tony Award.
