Working and living in Hamilton, Ontario, what inspires me is the aesthetics of Friedrich Nietzsche, a philosopher who walked the tightrope between sublime beauty and existential insight. Nietzsche was faced with the fundamental truths of life, so the aim in my work is to walk this same tightrope and learn what Nietzsche meant by "amor fati".
