Attic Room Studio was started in 2014 by, Olga Hodge. It began as a jewellery making hobby, but as her style became more refined, it evolved into a small brand of jewellery. Olga's attic is in regional Victoria, Australia. As she works, she looks out at the rectangular and triangular rooftops of her small town and beyond at the Strzelecki Hills. The geometric motif continues throughout the bracelets, necklaces and earrings she makes here. The products created by Attic Room Studio have a minimalist, gender neutral aesthetic. Olga goes for simplicity in her jewellery. Items are primarily made up of minimalist shapes like circles, triangles, squares and hexagons, using new and up-cycled materials. At heart, Olga is a multidisciplinary maker and also works in cross-stitch and concrete. The work of Attic Room Studio is inspired by shifts in weather, the night sky, steppes and curious objects.
