Accessories – Madison
I\'m a born Madisonian raised in Texas and re-planted here about 20 years ago. The best way to describe me is a creative whirlwind with a NEED to be working on something almost constantly to stay sane. My First love is words and while I pick away at my novel manuscript (a work in progress for a few years now) I enjoy producing jewelry and accessories in a number of different styles, ie... traditional and woven beading (hematite is AWESOME), clustered charm work, and (most recently and most avidly at the moment) organic wire wrapping. The jewelry has become an important part of my income in the last year through my shop on Etsy.com.
I also enjoy different forms of creative writing, photo manipulation and graphic design, and have dabbled in video composition and editing for fun. The RAW organization says \'natural born artists\' and I have to say that I really am one. With all the hobbies / talents I claim above... I have had special schooling in none of them. When I have sought a youtube tutorial or other open source instruction (which isn\'t very often) I usually watch about half and then fill in the creationary blanks myself. That way its mine rather than \'that technique the video showed me\'.
I\'ve been called an artist by a lot of people for a lot of reasons over the years, but am just starting to think of myself that way.
