Belmont Lights

Music – San Diego

Belmont Lights is an Alt/Pop/Rock band from San Diego, CA. After 2 years of playing shows throughout the west coast, and releasing two EPs (“Soon Enough” 2010 & “Sparrow” 2011) under the name, The Pennant, the band gained attention from industry professionals who advised them that a name change would be best for a mainstream appeal. In 2012 they became known as, Belmont Lights. Since their mid 2012 release, Belmont Lights has been featured in the Music Connection Magazine (November 2012 Issue) with the highest rated album review (9.0/10.0) and featured in the Music Connection Magazine (December 2012 Issue) as the Top 100 Live Unsigned Bands, as well as the Top 10 Album Reviews of the Year. The live show of Belmont Lights has been well received, which has earned them shows on the main stages of the House of Blues Sunset Strip, the House of Blues San Diego, The Roxy, The Troubadour, The Viper Room, and the Bottom of the Hill in San Francisco, and has allowed them opening slots for national acts such as Andy Grammer, ZZ Ward, Ernie Halter, Tony Lucca, and John West, along with an invitation to play the 2013 Whole Planet event at SXSW in Austin, TX. The band is currently writing & recording their first full length album, while touring up and down the coast.
