It was on a bus ride to work at a merchant bank that I decided to follow my dream and make my first wedding dress. I loved it so much I haven't looked back. I realized I had the need to create. Self taught in every aspect, I found my forte in beading and embellishment, and I love working with fine luxurious fabrics. Working for two bridal designers, I was able to build an extensive portfolio. BESPOKE Couture by Cheryl was born about an overwhelming demand for privately commissioned couture one off gowns and every day wear with a special touch. I love to liaise with the client to create something that they will treasure forever, the finer the detail the better, something that perfectly suits their occasion and their heart.
