Lilou

Born in Montreal in the 80’s, Lilou showed great interest for art and creation at a very young age. In high school, she hesitated between studying art or fashion. She finally chose to explore visual arts. After one month of class, she became convinced that she would learn more on her own, so she left the classrooms and started painting, creating installations and participating in shows and exhibits. Having decided not to pursue her studies, she travelled through Latin America where she got into surfing. That’s when she realized that life was a constant journey and that she was more than happy to embark on that trip. After a few years, she came back to Quebec where she met, in 2007, Olivier Dubois with whom she created the clothing line Encantados. Two years later, she went back to Mexico, a country that always made her feel at home. The next three years were filled with new relationships and innovative projects. It is during that very creative period that the Lilou line was born. Still filled with passion and constantly renewed inspiration, she now spends her life between Mexico, Europe and Quebec.
