Music – Brisbane

Brandon Woods is one of the most unique musicians of the twenty-first century. Dubbed as Australia's answer to American violinist Lindsey Stirling, Brandon has taken the traditional sound of the violin one step into the future by incorporating the elements of electronic music to form an addictive, edgy and electrifying extravaganza. Drawing inspiration from artists such as the Dixie Chicks and Vanessa-Mae, Brandon evolved with the release of his first single titled “Cyberfiddle" in 2014. Thanks to the Australia-wide success of the song, Brandon gained thousands of fans via social media, and by popular demand, released an electronic style single titled “Vortex” in February 2016. This was followed by the release of his debut album titled 'Immortal Symphony' in August 2016 which was inspired by electronic music virtuosos Zedd and Hardwell. In July 2016 Brandon was crowned World Champion Instrumentalist in three divisions at the World Championships of Performing Arts in Los Angeles, California with original songs from his debut album. He returned to Australia to tour 'Immortal Symphony' which included headlining the 2016 Royal Queensland Show's 10-night arena spectacular called 'EkkaNITES'. In 2018, Brandon released two new songs, "Demolition" and "Galactic Spark", featuring dance-pop artist Dolly Daydream. Currently living in Brisbane, Queensland, he is working on a library of new original music, set for release in 2020.
