Visual Art – Seattle

Yin and yang have been thought of as two halves that are chasing after each other as they seek a new balance with each other. I perceive it as harmony between positive and negative. I am constantly trying to achieve balance within my life and I try to present that in my paintings as well. Sometimes it is equilibrium between darkness with a burst of light, other times it is demonstrated with symmetry. I have an affinity for anatomy with a deeper fascination for eyes and mouths. I like to twist the typical aspects of life to be able to incorporate my interest of the human body into unusual pieces of art.
