Visual Art – San Jose

I\'m just a simple girl who loves the smell of old books, painting up a storm, and keeping the Oxford comma alive. I hold a B.A. in Anthropology from San Jose State University, and I love what I study. I originally declared myself an art major in community college, but stumbled upon anthropology and never looked back. Since graduating from university, I keep myself occupied working as a cashier at Whole Foods Market, reading books about cadavers and bones, playing recreational indoor soccer, and painting. Art is my escape from my own reality; it keeps me grounded when I lose touch, and it keeps me light when I feel heavy. I love my craft, and I am grateful to the universe for gifting it to me.
