Camille is a contemporary artist born in Hong Kong, now residing in New York. Using mixed media, she focuses on the detailed emotions in human behavior in a compelling series of portraits. "We all share life-changing experiences; our social media chats and conversations always cover the best aspects of ourselves. The news displays the things we want to see and often skims over the events that concern fewer people. We all live in a world of information, but the information that gets spread around, repeated and manipulated, are not always important issues. My goal is to recreate the small untold stories. I want to evoke feelings and emotions from the subtleties that we often overlook. Something as simple as paying attention to body language, emotions that are hidden in the small details. Art is my outlet. It’s my form of expressing the naked and vulnerabilities that lie within all of us."
