Visual Art – Toronto
Peruvian visual artist based in Toronto. Painting provides me with an outlet for thoughts and feelings that I am unable to express otherwise. I find inspiration in nature, spaces, memories, the human figure, familiar faces or unknown ones, the sublime and the mundane, anything that mesmerises my senses or moves me.
My style explores the richness of colour, brushstroke and texture, darkness and light, lines and shapes. I use symbolism to create my own visual language and engage the viewer in an intimate dialogue with each piece.
