Music – Melbourne

Channondale is a new folk and pop musical duo based in Melbourne, Australia. Made up of Lyndsay Channon (Vocals) and Callum Dale (Guitar +), Channondale began playing music together a couple of months after they started dating in 2014, experimenting with a cover of Lynyrd Skynyrd’s ‘Sweet Home Alabama’ as it was the only song they mutually knew the lyrics and chords too. Diving into the world of musical covers, Channondale first performed at the 2015 Monash University Container Festival under the name Channon and the Dale, applying their folk roots feel to various rock, pop and hip-hop songs. In 2016, Channondale squished their names together and performed at The Warehouse benefit for Possible Dreams International, a Swaziland based charity providing resources and relief to communities affected by poverty, famine and HIV/AIDS. Away from the recording studio and stage, Channondale love living a quiet life in Melbourne’s Eastern suburbs dedicated to their Swedish Vallhund, Diva, and large collection of Lego. Channon and Dale are currently looking forward to making their squished up union official when they get married in 2020. Channondale’s first EP 'Buttons, Bits & Bobs' was released in July 2019 via Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music, Pandora and other major streaming services. https://music.apple.com/au/album/buttons-bits-bobs-ep/1472830913 https://open.spotify.com/album/1YJJYLXpttyIg93twZYVOn?si=8PMqbDExSWS_9wV9Uy3jWg Their 2017 Covers Album 'Coveralls & Jam' is available via YouTube. https://youtu.be/1vyYFHfsXSs
