Chantell Sampson Modern Abstracts

Chantell Sampson is a self-taught artist, whose work is currently featured at the Lighting Folk in Boulder, CO. After teaching hip-hop dance for over 10 years, she turned to painting as an alternative creative outlet. She always been an avid acrylic painter but has recently discovered her love of paint pouring and using oils as well. Her style features bright, fun, passionate, and one-of-a-kind pieces that could never be duplicated due to the unique abstract techniques and materials used. "Art to me, has always been about a release of emotion and self-expression. I want my art to inspire and captivate audiences. I also never name my pieces because ultimately, I want the viewer to define it for themselves and feel whatever they feel about it without my preconceived notions on what it means to me.
