Visual Art – Cincinnati

I am a Cincinnati based artist specializing in drawing and painting. My work focuses on nature, humanity, mental health, and more recently how pop culture ties into it all and the affects on our societal movements and individual decision making it brings. I am currently working on my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the University of Cincinnati's College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP), with a minor in Psychology. The intention of my work is to bring forward my thoughts and experiences and conceptualize them into art that reaches others on an emotional standpoint in which people can relate and feel heard. Much of my work brings forth ideas about mental health and the well-being of humanity because these topics are what weigh heaviest to me, and I feel an importance in creating work that I not only have love and interest in, but feel can bring up productive ideas and conversations between us as people, whether it is to make our communities better, our minds clearer, our hearts stronger, or to just simply make someone feel better.
