Born and raised in the desert oasis of Phoenix, Arizona, Cherice Love has been perfecting her signature hybrid R&B/Neo-Soul style since she was a little girl, beginning in church gospel and school choirs where her unique sound really started to take mold. By the age of 16, Cherice began utilizing social networks such as YouTube and Facebook to share her natural and raw talent with the world. Starting with acapella cover videos progressing to writing her own original lyrics, she began collaborating with other artists and producers under the name Cherice Nicole. During that time, she performed in several talent shows and was continuously invited to sing the National Anthem for a variety of events. In 2012, she decided to pursue her career as an independent recording and performing artist, changing her name to Cherice Love. She started down her solo professional performance path on the Celebrity Theatre stage in Phoenix, opening for Musiq SoulChild and then opened for UrbanAZ’s R&B Music Fest 2013, where Lyfe Jennings, Avant, Ralph Tresvant, Bobby Brown, Dave Hollister and other iconic artists were headlining. More recently, Cherice opened for Anthony Hamilton, which was also at Celebrity Theatre. Her NEXT show is February 12th at the Celebrity Theatre, where she will be opening up for Ne-Yo and Mila J! Cherice is continuing to please her ever-growing fanbase, working with a dedicated team of producers, writers, musicians, choreographers, and dancers to bring new music into 2015!
