It all boils down to storytelling. The most enveloping aspect of collage work is the ability of a single image to take on a completely different life when paired with a dissimilar surrounding. It\'s an overall new reality and a new togetherness. The combined images don’t just play off one another but aid in defining the overall narrative of the piece. Every image evokes a memory or a particular disposition in a way that allows the viewer to interact with the piece. There is a playfulness in the juxtaposition and a particular irony that I hope will instill a lasting impression. Enjoy!
