Michael Witt was born in Harvey, IL and currently resides in Germantown, WI, near Milwaukee WI. At a young age Michael was always creating art in some form; paintings, drawings, sculpting, etc. However, it was when he discovered the art of chainmaille in 2012 that he found his true passion. Michael is a self-taught artist and continues to learn how to work with different materials, and implement them into new designs, to keep growing Couture Armour's unique line of jewelry and accessories.
Couture Armour is a fashion-forward accessory brand, that implements techniques and materials used to create armor in ancient times to wearable fashion today. What makes Couture Armour so special is the fact that every ring in a piece is open and closed by hand. Other materials are carefully measured, cut, and attached to a piece with careful precision.
