Visual Art – Pittsburgh

I am a weaver, a painter, a drawer, and a textile artist. I create my work on a forty-eight inch jack type floor loom, where I combine elements of painting and drawing within the fiber arts. The weavings I create establish a deliberate relationship, or connection, between the understanding of time and the delicacy of emotion. With respect for the sensitivity of painting and the mechanical nature of weaving, I bring both of these approaches together to build tactile, drapable works of art.
