Photography – Los Angeles

a creative director and photographer born in New York City, based in Silver Lake, Los Angeles. Daniel studied strategic design and management at Parsons School of Design, graduating Dean's Honors in the spring of 2015. at 17, Daniel was gifted his first 35mm film camera and has developed a different understanding of how to see the world, both through a personal lens and an artistic lens. understanding the dichotomy between creative authenticity and human connectivity, and finding the truth in the moments between, is paramount to Daniel’s work in both editorial portraiture and overall with his film photography. his work captures the vulnerable and raw connections made between his subjects and himself. there is a deep sense of voyeurism — the camera watches the subject, the subject watches the photographer, the photographer watches the light. in addition to his personal projects, Daniel has shot for vanityfair.com and behind the scenes for music talent and fashion houses such as KENZO and Saint Laurent.
