Visual Art – Phoenix

I would like to introduce you to a little bit about me. I'm a disabled Navy Veteran. My early adult years were spent homeless on a park bench with nothing but my art, in the Navy, and homeless again living out of a storage locker. Now as an adult my art has taken off in the last 10 years. During this time, I have gotten involved globally with charity and competitions. My work has been shown and sits in collections around the world. A few of the top places I have shown are Times Square (twice), the Cincinnati Art Museum, Norway, and in April of this year the UK. Also, collections on at least three continents contain my art. Traditional materials are my mainstay. I work in oil and acrylic paint, colored pencils, graphite, ink, charcoal, plaster, stone, and wood. No matter the media I let the materials speak to me and tell me what they want to create. Charity is an important part of my artistic life. With my art, I have supported Big Brothers Big Sisters, Constella, Molly Olly’s, and many others through Twitter Art Exhibit.
