Singer, songwriter, Danita Pina Goncalves was born May,11,1989 in Boston Massachusetts. At the age of two, it was recognized that Danita had a strong taste and admiration for music, especially growing up in a musical household, where she was often around band rehearsals and studio sessions with her mother who was- and is currently still a performing artist. Growing up appreciating artist, such as Whitney Houston, Tevin Campbell, Lauryn Hill, Mariah Carey, Michael and Janet Jackson, BoyzIIMen, Tony Braxton, Beyonce and more… “Has truly inspired dreams, lyrics, performances and so much more”-says Danita. In the 5th grade Danita had an opportunity to record vocals and make beats during a software tutorial class with one of her favorite teachers Mr. Allen. After acknowledging her pairs appreciation towards her production she then ventured to pursue music, from school talent shows, to competitions and showcases. Taking it a step further at age 16 Danita became first lady of a young rap group by the name of D.C.FAM , and gained long term musical relationships as well as assistance towards future movements, like solo work. After doing plenty of hooks here and there with team and other artist collaborations Danita, stepped aside and independently came out with her first single “Take It Slow” at age 17 and soon after shot the video. This single gained her a buzz in Boston at the time and got her involved with DJ on&on of Jamn 94.5Launch Pad, and Cambridge , MA prestigious Middle East, as well as Community Auditions. Traveling and making her appearance known near and far in places such as, G.A, N.Y,M.N,P.A, and many more, this girl glows in a light of her own where ever she goes. More aggressive with her music, performance, image, and creativity as an artist Danita has been consistently involved with one thing or another from writing and recording songs for herself as well as other artist. Danita has networked and collaborated with artist, business’s and entertainers and has been successfully growing since.
