Performing Art – Boston

Erin McNulty is a contemporary dance artist, teacher, and community practitioner currently based in Boston. Her work is deeply rooted in improvisational research, and balances vulnerability and intimacy with her own blend of highly detailed physicality. Having trained with DeAnna Pellecchia and Ingrid Schatz (Kairos Dance Theater) in her home city of Boston, Erin most recently studied at Trinity Laban Conservatoire in London (2015-2016) earning a Postgraduate Diploma in Community Dance. Erin is drawn to projects where the barriers between professional dance and the communities it exists in are broken down, bringing richer cultural dialogue and appreciation for the arts and the body. She is currently a Teaching Artist with the Boston Ballet and on faculty at LINX Dance Studio and Wilmington Dance Academy, while also freelancing as a performer and developing her own choreographic projects. She has performed with Kairos Dance Theater, Zoe Dance Company, Kelley Donovan & Dancers, Paula Josa-Jones/Performance Works, and Bethan Peters, and has presented her own work with NACHMO Boston/Nat'l Choreography Month, RAW Artists, MergeArts Boston, and the Third Life Studio Choreographer Series.
