Visual Art – Toronto

Ethel Voronkova draws inspiration in the simple things in life as well as from her own life experiences. Painting has been a passion of hers since she was very young. Ethel came from a creative family, with a father who created hand crafted guitars and who knew how to draw just about anything. Being around that creative energy since childhood, perhaps, is what drew her in to drawing and painting. Ethel have always been imaginative and creative, but it wasn't until she attended Centennial College for Fine Arts that Ethel began to view Visual Art as something more than just what she could do, but more of a statement that she can share with the world about herself as an artist and her passion. Ethel Voronkova was born out of a combination of her education, training and experience, which allows her perspective as an artist to remain traditional yet contemporary. Art is how she communicates to the world about things that are important to her.
