Fiorella Armando

Fiorella was born in Uruguay. She is a Professional Dancer, Teacher & Choreographer. She made her first connection with dance through Latin Rythms & Samba, at the early age of 4, at "S&S" Academy. Since then, she has developed her career as a Samba Dancer and member of "Escuela de Samba Titanitos" community, in the city of Bella Unión, Uruguay. At the age of 10, she makes her first steps in Ballet & Jazz Dance, at "Bella U Dance" Academy. And later on, at 13 years old, she added Bellydance to her dance training, in the same institution. At the age of 18, she moved to Montevideo, Uruguay, where she joined the Professional Classical Ballet Training at "Escuela Cubana de Ballet de Montevideo", which she continued at "Ballet Avant" School. She joined as well, a Professional Contemporary Dance Training, after being selected at "Escuela Nacional de Danza SODRE, División Danza Contemporánea". She also continues her Bellydance training at "Gawazi" School. At the age of 21, she receives an Scholarship for "Vassiliev Academy of Classical Ballet" in New York, and she travels to join this training, while keeps traveling to Uruguay to work as a Freelance Dancer, Teacher & Choreographer, in different institutions and her own productions. This year, she moved to NYC, to join the "Ballet Arts" International Student Program at New York City Center, and she is now collaborating with different dance groups in the city, looking forward to expand as an artist.
