Teresa Flour Lamb
Visual Art – New York - Brooklyn
I am an artist, graphic designer, and crafter living in Brooklyn, New York.
I\'m originally from sunny Florida. My childhood was filled with lots of Mark Twain quotes and road trips to Georgia.
I started sewing and needlework at a young age, and my first job was at a fabric store. My relationship with fabric and texture is a common theme in my work.
As a teenager I started making collages, and enjoyed making narratives with the images I tore up and pieced back together.
In college I began adding 3D elements to my collage such as deceased moths I found in my studio, and fragments of old wooden furniture. More recently I keep my hands busy by knitting, binding books, and working on bicycles.
I moved to Brooklyn after school to begin a career in graphic design. I continue to collect abandoned wasp nests and tasteful fonts.
