Danielle - Gorgeous Hair @ Gorokan

I am passionate about the hairdressing industry. I am so lucky to wake up every day and do what I love. I started hairdressing in 2005 and since then have tried to grasp every opportunity that has been available to me. I think you can never stop growing, learning and evolving and I try to invest the time to grow as an artist and to achieve the goals I want to achieve. I then hope to be able to take some of my achievements and things I have learned and help the next generation. I opened my salon Gorgeous Hair At Gorokan in 2010 and have been so amazed by the community support and achievements of my team and I. We won the Northern Lakes Regional Business Awards in 2013, were a finalist in 2012 and I was a finalist in the Young Entrepreneur category in 2013. I recently was a finalist in De Lorenzo\'s pitch competition and have been asked to pitch my ideas to improve the De Lorenzo salon ASPYA program at De Lorenzo\'s hair conference in Singapore. I am so honoured for these opportunities and excited at the possibility of being a RAW artist and expanding my portfolio even further.
