gracie. g is a self taught artist of 11 years, currently residing in Oakland ca. her skills and interests include, sewing, designing, jewelry fabrication, embroidery, music, peyote stitch bead work and clothing reconstruction. she has a fashion company with her best friend jocelyn bada, they go by the name ginianFUTA. she also makes and designs jewelery, accessories and art independently using recycled, raw, natural and new materials to create unique one of a kind pieces of wearable art. as well as whole fashion looks and mini lines. her inspiration comes from her gypsy heritage, native American culture, art and bead work, ancient Egypt, vant garde, futuristic fashion, Japanese street fashion,1920's flapper era, the 80's, 90's and hip hop culture.
