Visual Art – Louisville
Art has always been my main form of expression, there are things that can be conveyed through a painting or a sculpture that cannot be put into words. I love a wide variety of mediums but above all, I love making jewelry and painting. At the moment, my main project is creating a watercolor series centered around Louisville, the place I was born. As I delve deeper into the series the meaning has been morphing. I have visited places that are important to my past and my development in my younger years when I had no one to listen. I have explored my relationship with my faith; both the challenges and the beauty that come with passing into the beyond...of creating a bond with something more than yourself. At the present I am exploring where I am now, new beginnings and what is to come. Here I am. What does the future hold?
