Hello, I\'m Naomi!

Visual Art – San Jose

I was born and raised in the Bay Area. I grew up in a house of six with 3 sisters and my parents. Also the occasional pets my parents would allow us to have (a lot of cats). My sisters would spend most of their time playing around but me- I was always on my own. My mom would say that I had a huge imagination as a child. Always writing, running around with my dolls, or drawing. Drawing was one of the main things. I always had a marker or a crayon and hard cover book to act as my desk when I would sit on the couch with my paper to draw. I would always hide what I drew to that\'s the funny thing. Never would I show anyone my drawings till I was completely finished. I loved the mystery of it. Growing up, I always doodled on my binders with Sharpies when class would go on. My mind always wandered off. After many family and friends tried their best to convince me to take an art class I finally convinced MYSELF that I should take an art class. So I did my senior year of high school. As much as I tried to stick with the assignments, I hardly ever followed them. I would end up creating my own things. I always believe that art should come from your heart and not through paperwork.
