Hillary Deane

Hillary Deane has been interested in the arts her whole life. A dancer for almost ten years, Hillary enjoyed performing for others and being in front of a camera. In addition, she has always found relaxation in filling her free time with experimenting with tactile crafts. In her late teens, Hillary started dedicating her creative energy towards photography. Taking specialized courses in advanced art with a concentration in commercial photography, Hillary knew she had found her true passion. She began freelancing and interning with local professional photographers in the state of Maine. To continue her education, Hillary moved to Boston to attend The New England Institute of Art where she is currently in her fourth and final year in the Bachelors of Science Photography program. Hillary enjoys nature photography but is most fascinated with portraiture. She truly loves working with people of all ages – children, teenagers, couples, families, and for local businesses and at special events. Hillary is especially interested in photographing on-location and with natural light. Always looking for new and exciting ideas and destinations for shoots, she is inspired by individuality, creativity, love, and happiness. Hillary strives to capture images that are true reflections of her model’s personalities, relationships, and important life milestones.
