Erin Rhodes is a self-taught, acrylic abstract artist based out of Houston, Texas. She has been perfecting her skills in acrylic abstract art for the past several years. While Erin has been creating art and various forms throughout her life, it was not until 2009 that she started creating art on a full-time basis. In a fairly short period of time Erin accomplished many achievements for a self taught and self-representing artist. Selling her original abstract art paintings at art markets and her first exhibition this year. Erin is inspired by music she listens to. The beat, the lyrics, the emotions she feels from the music while creating. The creation process is a freeing experience, allowing her emotions to spill out onto the canvas as a release.
