Visual Art – Calgary
I am a born and raised Calgarian, hugely inspired by the Canadian Rockies outside my back door. Educated in Fashion Design, I transitioned my creative passion onto the canvass and have never looked back. My process is multilayered. I have Dreams that flow through me. I see shapes and colours in every waking moment. I Pray, I Dance and I Cry. Music, Landscape and Emotion move me to find meaning within the texture and colours that transfer onto a piece. Layer upon layer I create trusting my intuitive nature and the process. My intention is to be true to what needs to come out, nothing more. I never know what the final product will be I just allow The Divine to speak through me. My pieces are emotional landscapes vacillating between Joy and Sorrow, Love and Heartbreak and everything in between. You may or may not see what I see, that’s the magic of Art, every eye sees something different. The Joy is in looking.
