Accessories – Canberra
JacieKakes is the eventual product of a childhood of Sailor Moon, fairy tales and a very very sweet tooth.
As a child I became very interested with sewing, knitting and beading my own jewelry and accessories, and from the age of thirteen I was gifted an old sewing machine and my grandmothers collection of wool she no longer used. This grew my love of creating fun and girly pieces, and upon leaving high school I went out into the world and my dreams of being a designer lay dormant until my early twenties, when I realised that it really was my dream and I should chase it with both hands. Much of my work focuses around cute candy and pastel inspired jewelry and sweet accessories in an assortment of pastels and a little bit of pastel goth thrown in.
