Music – Ventura

Born in Liberia, Jehu\'s world was torn apart at a young age due to African Civil War. Separated from his family at the age of six, he was forced into the horrific experiences of war as a child soldier. Surviving starvation, violence, and watching the people of his childhood be killed, Jehu faced the darkest side of mankind. Coexisting with the dark, Jehu also experienced love in the sacrifices that people made with their lives in order to protect him so he could carry on their stories. Jehu was eventually reunited with his older sister who led him to escape his country and find his parents in the United States. After graduating the University of Rhode island, Jehu moved to California to pursue music as the medium to tell his story of the power of love in any situation. His musical journey is his love song to those that came before him and died so that he may live. Currently Jehu plays at numerous venues and private parties throughout Southern California. His fan base includes all ages and ethnicity and attest to the power of his music and words to bring light and healing wherever he goes. He would like to thank everyone who makes it possible for his music to be played. They are the reason his dreams are made up of real things
