Jelena Dereta

I am a Toronto artist working primarily with acrylic and watercolour on a variety of materials - wood, canvas, glass, seashells - anything works! I love using bold colours and stacking paint to create texture and drama. My preferred choice of subject varies - sometimes it is fruit, other times it is a person. It always is fuelled by mood and feeling, or music. A good tune can do a lot for a painting.
