Visual Art – Miami

To be honest, I can’t note any reputable or remarkable illustration background. I was just always drawing…All the time. I painted graffiti since I was 14 years old, but that’s not important here… I tried school (College for Creative Studies Detroit MI) and dropped out failing classes due to my lack of interest. I’d have to say my most favorable and memorable experience in my field was Tattooing professionally at Lucky Monkey Tattoo in Ann Arbor, MI. I’ve been tattooing now since 2007. I spent the first two apprenticing in one of the worst neighborhoods on the Eastside of Detroit. One of the worst experiences of my life, yet Still, I loved it so much that I left school for it. After leaving that shop and its conditions, I started working at Lucky Monkey and the world of illustration opened up for me in a new medium. I wanted to tattoo forever - And I did, till I couldn’t any more due to medical reasons. Though during the time I was there I:  Spent two amazing years creating and developing all kinds of custom tattoo work in a fast paced highly reputable tattoo shop.  Managed and directed tattoo shop production, presentation, and work efficiency.  Engaged meticulously and favorably with all types of clientele personality to create permanent work meant to last a lifetime. Surreal for Real has been my main project. I’ve been developing it for years. Something tells me it has to get done, and I know it’s worth it – So whatever it takes to see it happen, I’m going to do.
