Jestoni Dagdag

Performing Art – Orange County

Jestoni Dagdag was born in the Philippines and moved to the United States at the age of 14. He discovered a sudden passion in dance when he took a modern class in his first semester at a junior college. Soon after, he enrolled in other dance styles such as jazz and ballet. In 2013, he transferred to the University of California, Irvine. He studied under Tong Wang, Sheron Wray, Molly Lynch, Shaun Boyle, Dianne Diefenderfer, and Chad Michael Hall. Upon graduating in 2015, he received a BFA in Dance Performance, and was recognized with an Arts Award, "Excellence in Dance Performance." Jestoni recently performed as a guest artist in Donald Mckayle's "House Of Tears" at the Barclay Theatre. He has also travelled with "Shaun Boyle & Artists" performing works at various festivals such the Dance Gallery Festival in New York and Texas, and at the Breaking Ground Dance Festival in Arizona. He is a dancer with the LA-based cyber punk modern dance company called "Multiplex Dance". In addition, he frequently performs and choreographs for Vicious Circle Dance Co. He hopes to spread more awareness in dance and to inspire others through movement.
