Music – Toronto

Josh Clarke Hits The Pop/R&b Market with a little “Payback” Canadian Singer-Songwriter on the Rise Spending the last 4 months of summer 2016 collaborating with some of Toronto's best and brightest,  his sound has gone from hard hitting, emotional ballads to sultry R&B hooks. At the age of 15, Josh’s Grandfather gave him his first piano. He began to practice and write songs as an outlet to deal with his parent’s separation, not knowing that the emotions that arose from that time; would define his musical persona. Surrounded by writers, dancers, singers, and entertainers within his family,  Josh gravitated to music naturally, making it his vice of choice. As he threw himself into the creation of his sound, it was clear to him that music would not only become a channel for dealing with life’s trials, but he was acutely drawn to the art of fine-tuning and producing a body of work that is purely his; and will undoubtedly resonate with many. Inspired by artists such as Lenny Kravitz, Prince, Ne-Yo, Justin Timberlake, Miguel and Maxwell, Josh hopes to become a top-tier song writer that tells his own story of capturing the hearts and minds of today. Don’t let his age fool you.. he brings with him experience, and an innate understanding of people..circumstances..life.  Josh has already cultivated his following through performances at the Vibe Arts Festival,  The Amsterdam Bicycle Club, Fuse Restaurant & Emporium, The Nikki Clarke Show, Afro-Global Television Rogers and Bell Tv, anywhere his sound could be heard by those hunting for something new and exciting. What plans does he have for the near future? To become a Toronto staple. No longer looking to his family roots for inspiration and guidance, he has chosen to blaze a path of his own. Whether it be live performances with his band, boat cruises brought to you by his promotional company; I Am Entertainment, as well as fashion the city will be abuzz and Josh will be the source.
