Julia Sawyer is an Elementary Art Teacher as well as a Contemporary Mixed Media Artist, working in Raleigh, North Carolina. Challenging herself to push the boundaries of mediums, she enjoys creating Mixed Media works that engage the senses through elements of texture, form and color. Being able to teach Art allows Julia the outlet to share what she loves while at the same time learning, creating and expanding upon her own skills. When she's not drowning in piles of artwork, you can find her hanging out with her cats Henry and Nora, probably watching The Office.
