Julie Anderson

Julie Anderson was born and raised in Chanhassen, MN where she still resides today. As a child, Julie found immense pleasure in creatively drawing pictures which ultimately led to a lifelong passion. At the young age of 14, Julie discovered her love for sewing which led to a deeper understanding of a new form of art. At that time, it was realized that her previously discovered love for studio art could be transformed and combined with a more 3-dimensional, design expertise. Currently, Julie is a student at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities pursuing a BS in Apparel Design as well as a BA in Art. With the combination of the two fields, Julie has presented her artistic taste for colors and has explored many different approaches to include a variety of palettes throughout her designs. Through experimentation of many different styles and techniques, Julie has been inspired and grown to become primarily an Avant-garde and Couture designer.
