Katherine Homes

Katherine (also known as KT) has been composing melodies and singing since she first learned how to talk. Before Katherine disappeared from the music scene 8 years ago, she went on tour with her band Boxcar Daisies and opened for acts such as, Trampled by Turtles, Elephant Revival, Nathaniel Rateliff, and Joe Pug. Over the years she's been described as the female version of Bob Dylan and compared to singers such as, Natalie Merchant, Emmylou Harris, and Gillian Welch. Through haunting vocals and thoughtful lyrics, she hopes to shed light on environmental and social issues. Katherine relaunched her music career in 2015 with a Kickstarter Campaign to help her completer her first solo album, Put Down Your Gun, due for release in 2016.
