Visual Art – Phoenix
I have this really awful habit of trying to focus on everything I want to do all at once. But from that awful habit I have branched out from just sketching on lined paper to tattooing, painting, and digital art.
I am currently going to school for game design, with the hopes that I can create characters within a game. I am very new to using Illustrator and Photoshop, but so far, I love them.
I finished my apprenticeship at a tattoo shop after about a year. Then when the shop wasn\'t getting a lot of business, I decided I would much rather do tattoos as a hobby. As much as I hate to say it, but when people don\'t keep their appointments (which happens a lot) it can mean the difference of paying rent or not. And I couldn\'t handle that. So now I tattoo from my apartment in a second bedroom set up for tattooing.
Sketching and painting is my absolute favorite, and what I have been doing the longest. I have been drawing for as long as I can remember, I love drawing portraits, I love making people into cartoons, I love painting my favorite characters - mostly comics. One of my favorite things is when someone asks me to draw a portrait of a loved one. The feeling I get when someone trusts me enough to try to recreate the beauty of of someone they love so much is incredible. That feeling is what I live for. <3
