L Diablo

Montreal\'s favourite little red devil has been dazzling audiences with a flick of her tail and a twitch of her horns since 2005. A dancer by training and a temptress by nature, this fallen angel of burlesque lives to tease her audience with her forays into the incredibly seductive and the utterly ridiculous. Unofficially, L Diablo began her burlesque career somewhere in the early 80s while dancing around in her \"days-of-the-week\" underwear, shaking it to Solid Gold. Officially, L Diablo began her burlesque career as a member and co-choreographer for the now defunct Miss Sugarpuss and her Burly-Q Review. L Diablo went on to become artistic director and choreographer with the Dames in Disdress Burlesque. While with the Dames, L produced, directed and choreographed Summer of Strip at Petit Campus, Around the World with the Dames in Disdress at Players Theatre, and A Nearly Naked Noel and A Slightly More Naked Noel at Cafe Campus. L Diablo was a co-founding member of Team Burlesque, with whom she performed at Shazzam Fest; in The Serial Burlesque Series at Mainline Theatre, and with whom she got the chance to wear a pumpkin on her head. As a solo performer, L Diablo has had the honor of performing for Cirque du Soleil, at the Toronto Burlesque Festival (2008, 2009), The Montreal Burlesque Festival (2009. 2010. 2011, 2012), The Grand Burlesque Show (2010,2011, 2012), Stand Up Strip Down, The Dukes of Drag Fan night (2011 and 2012) and countless corporate gigs.
