Photography – Washington, D.C.

I have been taking photos since I was 11 years old and love experimenting with different cameras and mediums. I enjoy shooting various scenes, from animals to protests to nature. I aim to transport the viewer to a place that would evoke unusual and even unsettling emotions. My work has been shown internationally at Darkroom Gallery, A Smith Gallery, Delaplaine Art Center, the Center for Fine Art Photography, Touchstone Gallery, theprintspace Gallery, Melrose Lightspace, Frisco Art Gallery, Verizon Gallery, and the online annexes of the New York Center for Photographic Art, 1650 Gallery, and PhotoPlace Gallery. My work has been published on Umter (Umter.co.uk) and in F-Stop Magazine and Defeated Mag&zine;. I received the Best in Show award for Delaplaine Art Center’s National Juried Photography Exhibition, an honorable mention in the Washington Post’s 15th Annual Travel Photo Contest, and a finalist in the Julia Margaret Cameron Awards in the “Still Life and Abstractions” category.
