Ever since I could remember, I always loved wearing jewelry especially bangles. My earliest memory loving jewelry is when I was 8 years old. I would always beg my dad to buy me Hawaiian heirloom, jade, and koa wood bracelets in the swap meets in Hawaii. When I started traveling and experiencing the world, I always gravitated towards the local markets. There was always a galore of handcrafted jewelry. From the souks of Morocco and Egypt to the markets in Samoa, Fiji, and Tahiti. EVERYPLACE had their own unique style whether if it were using precious gemstones, wood, coconut shells, seashells or pearls. It was so hard to resist the temptation of buying a new piece of jewelry every time I stepped foot at a jewelers stand. The thing about handcraft jewelry is that every piece is UNIQUE. I can dwell in these markets forever and look at the same jewelry over and over again and I would still be just as fascinated as if I saw it for the first time. I developed recently a passion to make my own handcraft jewelry and made it my goal someday to start my own jewelry line. Now that I began this unforeseen dream of mine I envision it to be the start of something greater than I know it will be. In the future I envision my future customers dwelling in my jewelry stand feeling how I felt.... lost in fascination. ..- Michelle
