Visual Art – Vancouver
Hunter-gatherer of memories and visions. Paper and fabric hoarder, vintage lover. Quasi-narcoleptic who barely sleeps, but dreams and dreams. In between, I talk with animals and conjure images - including quirky, poetic and surreal dreamscape collages.
I also take photos, draw, sew, and occasionally make books and write. Currently I\'m getting into textile design, which combines a number of my interests.
I paid my way through art school working as a freelance writer and communications consultant in healthcare and health research, and completed the Fine Arts program at Langara College, and then a BFA in Visual Art at the Emily Carr Institute of Art & Design (now Emily Carr University).
