My art explores a series of mix media work that illustrates the visual imprints of gestural figures. My purpose is to depict abstract color schemes that draw you into a subconscious mindset. Each piece expresses a nostalgic Afro-centric memory that represents a pure expression of myself. These concepts and ideas are heavily influenced by Van Gogh, Carravigio and Basquiat. I want to stay true aesthetic. My art-style ranges from abstract expressionism, surrealism, and even applied impressions. I want to ignore all the rules and lose myself in my craft. I believe art is about expressing yourself authentically and taking the risks to do something that’s never been done before
