Fashion – Brisbane
Designer Leasha Yates completed a Bachelor of Design (Branded Fashion) at Billy Blue Design College Brisbane in 2014 where she focussed on Intimate Apparel; including an internship at the Pacific Brands BONDS/Berlei head office. During her studies, Leasha developed MARAKI Intimates to fill the gap in the market for a fashion forward lingerie label that is dedicated to sizes 8-14 in cups DD to G, an aspiration she has had since she was teenager.
Smooth silks, soft cotton jerseys and delicate lace in unexpected colour combinations featuring bold florals, and gold hardware is typical of the MARAKI aesthetic. Our range includes ultra feminine night dresses with built in support comfortable enough to sleep in, decadent robes, bras (obvs), and the sweetest knickers all available in three different rises; Waisty, Middy and Mini to flatter your own individual shape.
