Performing Art – Charlotte
Metamorphic Dance is a Charlotte local company with the goal of creating work in order to bring people together through the language of dance. Our work is influenced by contemporary, jazz, ballet, modern, Afro-Brazilian, and Latin movement. We strive to be a company made up of dancers from varying training backgrounds, as we believe each of us has something to learn from one another’s individual accumulated experiences. We are a collaborative team that aims to create diverse and meaningful work. Our team is passionate about giving back and providing a platform for dancers to showcase their skills. We have experienced that dance is a powerful tool in building community, and we want to help connect the Charlotte community through dance. Everyone has a body. Each body has a voice.
